  1. Equality Starts Now Front desk Meeting

  2. Harassment Not only was I discriminated against I was also harassed on a regular basic. I have attached a recording that my coworkers and I agreed to record to document the harassment. The situation was that a student came in, gave their name to the receptionist, for whatever reason the receptionist couldn't access the information and called me to verify the student in the system. The end result was that the student was already assigned to a white coworker and due to an error in the spelling of the name the student was reassign to a black coworker which outraged the manager and not the white employee. The manager wanted to write me up for insubordination for not answering her questions during this meeting and called everyone back in one by one to ask what I said during the meeting and try to change it around. I have 26 recordings, 8 of them will prove that I was the direct target of harassment, discrimination and racism from management at Virginia College.

  3. Equality Starts Now! We are all created equal! Stop the racism, harassment and discrimination. Some people in management at Virginia College thinks it’s ok to discriminate. When I complained to Human Resource regarding the treatment I received from this manager, the HR Rep stated I was “too critical”. (after 6 months of reporting harassment) What is critical about wanting to be treated as an equal and with respect? I am still being told there was nothing wrong with the way I was treated. I strongly disagree, all employees should be treated the same, regardless of their race or sex.
