  3. Sachin Sagare's art takes you on a journey through the multifaceted world inhabited by women. Born in 1981 in a small village in the Solapur district of Maharashtra, growing up in a rural setting, Sachin was inspired by the strong, hardworking women that he saw all around him, and his art is a tribute to the women from his village. Sachin Sagare completed a Diploma in Drawing and Painting from the Dalvis Art Institute, Kohlapur in 2001. He completed further studies in Pune, receiving a Diploma in Applied Arts from the Abhinav Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya in 2004. Sachin moved to Mumbai in 2005 to pursue his career in art, and for a few years, he also worked with a film director as a storyboarding artist and assistant director. While he learnt a lot during his time in the film industry, his true calling always lay in being a painter, and in 2011, he left his job to pursue a full time career as an artist.  With the strong belief that women play a vital role in shaping the values and culture of a society, Sachin’s artworks pay homage to female figures he has been influenced and inspired by.
