  3. Producing flow is changing • Tapeless News Production(Since 2004) • Tapeless Network and Server based System • Complete NDS(News Digital System at new SBS headquarter) • 36,000 Tapes Saved per Year

  4. Producing flow is changing • Transmission of Commercials w/o tapes (Since 2006) • Direct On-Air through Ad Video Clip Storage • 15,000 Tapes Saved per Year • Plan to Complete PDS(Production Digital System) • Tapeless Production of whole Programs(~2010) • Expecting 50,000 Tapes Saved per Year

Virtual Studio • Most Television Set Materials are Lumbers • Recycling is almost impossible • 70 % of Total Set Expense is Material Cost • Virtual Studio System • Expand the operation rate of Graphic System(3D Computer Graphic, Moving CG) • News, Sports, Documentary and more Programs • Decrease Paint use

Korean population : 48 Million • Robust Signal in Mobile Circumstance (FM Radio Coverage) • TPEG(Transport Protocol Experts Group) • ISO Standard • Traffic Information Transfer via Broadcasting, Internet and Telecommunication • Partial Service in DAB (Europe) • Only TPEG RTM(Road Traffic Message) : Construction Information • Total Service in T-DMB • TPEG RTM, CTT, SDI, POI etc  Really Useful to Driver cf. CTT(Congestion and Travel Time Information), SDI(Safety Driving Information), POI(Point Of Interests)
