  3. Example 1: The average velocity of a rolling freight car is 2.00 m/s. How long does it take for the car to roll 15.0 m?

  4. Example 2 : A dragster starting at rest reaches a final velocity of 318 km/h. Find the average velocity.

  5. Example 3 : A train slowing down to a stop has an average acceleration of -3.00 m/s2. If its initial velocity is 30.0 m/s, how far does it travel in 4.00 s?

  6. Example 4 : An automobile accelerates from 67.0 km/h to 96.0 km/h in 7.80 s. What is its acceleration (in m/s2)?
