  6. The poor little thing sat all alone in the corner Seams split under the arms from holding hands on long walks And ring-around-the-rosy with her much taller friend Where had she gone? Her constant companion who clutched a little too tight When the crack of thunder bullied its way into the room

  7. Traces of makeup on her cupie doll face Shabby hair Cut haphazardly by tiny unskilled hands A dirty foot shows wear because of a long lost shoe Many days spent watching cartoons Is there nothing left? Where had she gone?

  8. Tea parties, mud pies, and trips to the park Hiding under the covers from scary dreams Stains, tears and scars She calls them beauty marks From times so far away Where had she gone? What about me?
