  2. Goals Teachers will be able to: • define EC Activity • understand how EC activities benefit a students’ future and class performance • Understand how they can help mainstream EC activities • Have a positive perspective on EC activities

  3. Define Extra-Curricular Activities • All sports activities • Church • Any Clubs/Organizations involved at school • Any type of volunteer service that has a purpose to benefit the community and teaches a life skill

How You Can Mainstream EC • Secondary Teachers • Be active in Clubs (Math, History, Science, Drama, Speech, etc.) • Primary/Elementary: Use Business activities to teach concepts (banking, savings, etc.) • Reinforce concepts through business classes and competitive events • Establishing rapport • Encourage students to be involved
