This policy details laptop purchase eligibility, usage conditions, reimbursement criteria, accountability in case of loss/damage/theft, and procedures for retaining or transferring laptops upon leaving the organization. It covers employees in Grade G1 to G6 whose roles require mobile access to official information.

Laptop Purchase Policy • This policy applies to all on-roll employees in Grade G1 – G6, working in Sales/Marketing/New Business/International Business Function, within the organization whose job requires mobile access to official information. • Employees’ in Grade G-1 to G-6 will be entitled to purchase the laptop and get reimbursed on a monthly basis, as per their eligibility • When a laptop is issued to an employee on account of promotion or for any other reason, Its compulsory to handover the desktop to IT that he/she have been using until then.Exceptions need to be approved by ED & CEO

5.The reimbursement of EMI will be only if the laptop purchased has the minimum configuration Laptop Purchase Policy
Laptop Purchase Policy Condition for the usage/Transfer of Laptop • For employees in Grade G-1 to G-6, subject to a condition that the Laptop will be used for only official purposes, the amount would be reimbursed over a period of THREE years, and will be transferred to employees name. However, an employee will need to use the laptop for a period of FIVE years for official purpose, and will be entitled to a new Laptop only after completion of 5 years of Laptop usage. • After the reimbursement is complete (after 3 years and before completion of 5 years) and an employee leaves, h/she can retain the Laptop after an NOC is obtained from IT & submitted to HR for full & final settlement. • Employees can transfer their personal Laptop to avail of the benefit as stated above, subject to Laptop is not more than SIX months old. In such case, laptop purchase date should not be previous to 1st Jan’ 09
Laptop Purchase Policy Accountability • In case of loss/damage/theft of laptop, the user is to immediately report with all relevant information regarding to the loss to respective HR team. • In case of loss/damage/theft of company laptop, the company will recover the cost of the laptop from the employee user. Further it would be on management’s discretion to impose further penalties on account of loss of sensitive company. • In case of employee leaving the organization and retaining the laptop, the reporting manager has to ensure that the back-up of official data/information is taken on a CD/DVD and is deleted from the laptop, failing which may result in holdup in Full & Final settlement
