  2. Hypothesis: • Zebra Mussels would harm open water fish that eat plankton but would help littoral feeding fish. • Predicted: 6 open water fish would decline and 10 littoral fish would increase and move to region of greatest mussel density upriver

  3. Experiment • Analysis of data collected over 26years • Compared data on abundance, growth, and distribution

  4. Results • Open water fish declined • Littoral fish increased and growth rate showed same results
