  2. How Regions was formed • Regions Bank was formed in 1971. It was the merging of three banks in Alabama. The companies that became one were the First National Bank of Montgomery, The Exchange Security of Birmingham, and the First National Bank of Huntsville. Regions Bank had changed names many times over the years until May 2, 1994 when the name began to stick.

  3. Services • Regions Bank, it currently stands provides retail and mortgage banking services, commercial banking and other financial services such as investment banking and asset management. Regions is a national bank which means it’s big and can suit the needs of every person. • That means it can be personal and can be for your business.

  4. Regions is a bank • Both Banks and Credit Unions offer checking and savings account, financial products and specialized accounts, and the rest of the services people expect to be provided. • I would go to Regions because they have many ways to bank, like in the bank or online, and they have a rewards program for banking with them. You can use the points towards vacations like flight points and you can use to earn cash. • Regions provides traditional commercial, retail and mortgage banking services, as well as other financial services in the fields of investment banking, asset management, trust, mutual funds, securities brokerage, insurance and other specialty financing. • As well as a full-service regional brokerage and investment banking firm.

  5. The Difference • The difference between the credit union is that members are excited and tend to be more involved with their work, but also credit unions have a reputation of being small, regional or community oriented. • Banks have a much larger selection of products to choose from, including retirement plans, stock investing, and other services not offered by credit unions. Secondary, banks offer more ATMs and more branches; it’s also really simple to join.
