Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva @ Switzerland

I’ve tagged along with my husband’s work travels often enough that I was able to explore some fabulous destinations (by extending our stay), and having experience some of these cities’ luxury hotels too. While in Geneva, we were put in Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva by Huawei since Mr Gadget was here for a 2-days forum with them. It was the second time staying in a Kempinski hotel as our first was in Siam Kempinski Bangkok, also for a Huawei conference. Since we’ve experienced Kempinski hotels in Geneva and Bangkok, I couldn’t help but did slight comparisons between the two.

While in Geneva, we were put in Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva by Huawei since Mr Gadget was here for a 2-days forum with them. It was the second time staying in a Kempinski hotel as our first was in Siam Kempinski Bangkok, also for a Huawei conference. Since we’ve experienced Kempinski hotels in Geneva and Bangkok, I couldn’t help but did slight comparisons between the two. The thing I like most about Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva was its location! Right in the heart of the city, overlooking Lake Geneva, and walking distance to the train station, Old Town and even some local attractions. Rue du Rhône was only down the road, where world class shopping and plenty of restaurants can be found. Though the lobby didn’t look as appealing and elegant as Bangkok, it was spacious enough and had quite a number of cosy, comfortable leather seats around the waiting area. Staff at the reception was also efficient – check in procedure was smooth and swift. WWW.MISSGETABOUT.COM
