  2. The MI-HEART Project • Purpose: Examine ways in which information technology can be used to decrease “pain-to-needle time” • Solution: Educate patients to recognize the symptoms of MI and respond appropriately • Approach: Information technology-based education • Ubiquitous • Patient-specific
