  2. Reasons for the new Admin Tool • We heard from you that this was priority #1 • Problems managing your content • Confusing workflow • Legacy issues and workarounds mounting • Need to revamp COVE’s foundation to allow for new expansion

  3. Where things stand • Spent last couple months building the foundation • COVE API is in production • Also built in features to support iPhone/iPad • Next is Ingest and Edit functions

  4. The Basics • Built on new COVE API • Much faster • Easier sorting of your content • Ability to save your work • Simplified publishing workflow • Links to documentation • Better distribution options • Will use Universal User Authentication

  5. New concepts – Distribution Channels • Actual Channels TBD • Default channels assigned to accounts • Opt-out on individual asset basis • Metadata very important • Hi-Res images more and more important
