  3. Gupta Notes pg 26 • Although smaller, was a golden era of trading • Silk Road trade intensifies • Kushans were from further west, so more trading with Rome • Gov’t • Kept Bureaucracies of Mauryan, but Emperors were less watchful of their princes • Innovations • Healthcare (Inoculations) • 0-9
