  6. IBA – Why should we use it? • Low risk Increasing risk Target High risk groups Physically dependent • Very effective and is supported by large evidence base. (WHO, Dept of Health, NICE, SIPS…) • “For every 8 people who receive simple alcohol advice, one will reduce their drinking to within lower risk levels” (Moyer et al 2002)
