  2. Overview Today and Friday… Average conditions continue with temps in the mid 90s. Easterlies upper low expected to edge our way this evening Shower and T’Storm activity will be increasing in coverage. Isolated damaging winds and lightning will be the only threats. The weekend… Rain chances will peak early as the upper low over FL moves West across the Gulf. We are expecting near to slightly above normal temp readings late. Extended Forecast…Drought…Tropics Models show a similar pattern next week as the upper lows are lined up out across the Atlantic with no surface cyclones. Low pops will be common and higher mainly in LA and AR. E.TX / SE. OK drought conditions may continue increasing. National Weather Service Shreveport, Louisiana
