Master Plan. The Master Plan is a multi-year (3-5), comprehensive, strategic ministry plan that is driven by your vision to reach your people segment for Christ through a CPM. The bedrock for the master plan is your personal walk with the Lord and prayer. Failure to plan is a plan to fail.

  1. Master Plan The Master Plan is a multi-year (3-5), comprehensive, strategic ministry plan that is driven by your vision to reach your people segment for Christ through a CPM.

  2. The bedrock for the master plan is your personal walk with the Lord and prayer. Failure to plan is a plan to fail. Failure to pray is a sin. PRAYER

  3. VISION Vision is the ability to see what does not exist, and the faith to expect it to happen. Spiritual vision is the life-giving matrix of a leader. Spiritual vision flows from the following sources: Personal prayer, devotion to the Word, your primary fellowship group, your participation in a local body of believers, and experience. PRAYER

  4. VISION Vision development necessitates the following: Demographics Research World View Study A People Profile End Visioning Ministry Options (100) PRAYER

  5. Prayer Advocacy To focus abundant praying and concern on your people group and your team so that God will be glorified as multitudes come to know Him as Savior and Lord of their lives through a church planting movement. VISION PRAYER

Prayer Advocacy • Types of prayer support networks • Personal • Team • People Group • Make your networks global • Connect with other GCC prayer networks • Use your networks to advocate your group • Raise the awareness of the lostness of your group in national circles • You must “champion the cause”!

  7. VISION Scripture You must get the Word of God into the hearts and minds of your people. You must establish the Scriptures as the only source for both faith and practice. Prayer Advocacy PRAYER

Scripture • Is the Bible available in the heart language of your people? • Should the Scriptures be written, oral, or both? • Which approach is better: western logic or chronological storying? • How will it be taught? How do they learn? • Who will do the teaching? What does this communicate? • How does dynamic interaction occur among your people?

  9. VISION Evangelism To confront every person in your people group/segment with the gospel in culturally appropriate manners so that they can hear, understand and respond. Prayer Advocacy Scripture PRAYER

  10. Evangelism • Sow abundantly - “launch a thousand ships” • Involve GCCs • Attend all of the steps for the evangelism process in your plan • awareness • willing to receive • presentation of the gospel • conviction • conversion

  11. Scripture Prayer Advocacy VISION Leadership Development To prepare every follower to be a vibrant, mature, active, reproducing member of the body, capable of fulfilling the roles for which the Holy Spirit has gifted him/her. Evangelism PRAYER

Leadership Development • Train indigenous,culturally relevant leaders • Develop training cycles and curriculum to attend to all levels of leadership • Establish training goals that will provide the necessary leadership for projected growth • Use mentoring/modeling approaches for the most rapid reproduction • Allow for periodic “in service training” • All training should be obedience based

Scripture Prayer Advocacy VISION Church Planting To further the expansion of the Kingdom by establishing culturally appropriate, rapidly reproducing, missionary churches which will disciple believers, call out leaders and engage the body in worship, Bible study and service, bringing glory to God among their people. Scripture Prayer Advocacy Founded upon prayer, built upon a God-size vision, supported by prayer advocacy, Scripture, evangelism, discipleship, and new church starts, your Master Plan becomes the guide to lead you and your team toward the initiation and sustenance of a CPM.
