Status Updates • Gold Team: • Scoring Engine is currently working and being modified • Injects being developed • HS Blue team Fly Away kits are available and are in use • Dell/Intel – 10 laptops • Excess equipment at SSC Atlantic • Includes switches and laptops • Blue teams met on Thurs to collaborate & ensure consistent mentoring • Have asked for sample injects • Having difficulty with participation from High School Students at Military Magnet • Blue Team Preparation Package complete and posted on AOC site w/links from PCDC Facebook page • Coins ordered • Working to reengage Collegiate Participants – some have requested POC visits and we also should consider inviting them to next meeting or having separate meeting – depends on schedule
Status Updates (cont) • Red Team busy downloading exploits – now has 6 members • Developing consolidated Volunteer list with AOC Tracy Dayton-Musiol to ensure all slots are filled • All volunteers must fill out form on website • All volunteers working with High School students must have clearance • PCDC was included in 5.8 Competency Review and received Kudos from Chris Miller • Competition Equipment from Dell will be available ahead of time • Will be staging at SAIC facility • So far no predicted impact to funding or personnel due to potential sequestration • Completed order forms and sign up sheets for schools • Overall preparations are going extremely well with no major issues, knock on wood.

Pre-staging & Personnel Support Needed • SSC Atlantic is providing primary Blue Team mentor for each High School. We are looking for a corporate partner to match up for each High School. Tied to sponsorship level? • 2-3 Linux SMEs to visit High Schools • Volunteers to help set-up and breakdown tables/chairs, cleanup, etc. • White Team Judges • Pre-staging area (End of Feb) • At least 4 Network Experts to: • Pre-stage Competition network • Help Breakdown and Re-setup at Citadel • Trouble shoot and restore network when inevitable breakdown occurs during competition • Reset network for second day
