Types of heart disease: • Left ventricular hypertrophy: the major pumping chamber of the heart is the left chamber( pumping blood to the body through the aorta). If the left ventricle has too work too hard, its muscle hypertrophy ( enlarges) and becomes thick. This is called (LVH). Because of the increase thickness, blood supply to the muscle itself may become inadequate. This can lead to:
