Balance Combining elements to create stability in an artwork. • Symmetrical – two halves of a work are identical, one half mirrors the other • Asymmetrical – halves are not identical, takes into account hue, intensity, and shape • Radial – occurs when objects are positioned around a central point

  7. Harmony Combining or repeating similar elements to create unity or wholeness in an artwork.
