  2. Keep Your Gums Healthy • When caring for your mouth, do not forget about your gums. Your gums are also part of your oral health. • They keep your teeth in place and when they become infected, you may be at risk for gum disease and tooth decay. Worst cases can only lead to bone loss and eventually, tooth loss.  • Gum disease can be hard to diagnose as it isn't usually painful. Chances are you may only find out you have it once it has already reached advanced stages. But nobody has to endure gum issues

Pay Attention When Brushing Your Teeth • Brush your teeth properly to ensure your mouth, including your gums, get the most benefit from it. • Pick a toothbrush with soft bristles and be sure to change it as soon as it becomes frayed, or after 3 months.
