  7. CFSPH Veterinarians 2002-2005 • Practice experience • Range 1 to 24 years • Adjunct instructors at ISU • Salary: $30,000/benefits • Tuition paid • 1/4 time work toward MPH degree • 3/4 time work for CFSPH • 15 Graduates

Combined DVM/MPH • Iowa Regent Institution Consortium Agreement on Tuition • 3 s.h. per semester at UI free if paying full-time tuition at ISU • Approximate additional cost to student: $7-8,000 • 13 currently enrolled • 3 graduates • Most admitted VM1 spring semester • Veterinary Public Health Club • 40 members

  9. Distance Learning for Practicing Veterinarians • 2 year cohort • 2 summer institutes • 2-week sessions (6 s.h.) • University of Iowa, 1st summer • Iowa State University, 2nd summer • Remainder of courses web based and asynchronous • Currently admitting for June 2007
