  1. Forts and Palaces of Rajasthan Take a tour of all the forts and palaces of Rajasthan and get to savor the exquisite artistry that prevailed in the region a few centuries ago.

  2. One of the impressive fort of Rajasthan Rajasthan once a royal and princely state of the mighty rulers of India owns many rugged and strategically built forts. It has mighty deserts, serene lakes, traditionally and culturally rich towns and villages, delightful and mouth watering spicy cuisines, spectacular flora and fauna, splendid art forms.

  3. Amer Fort Jaipur Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, also known as the Pink City of India, is one of the most magnetic and charming cities in India. Opulent in heritage sites and royal references, the horizons of the city offer impressive tourism opportunities from end to end – be it monuments,  excursion spots, wild safaris, old temples, grand events, verdant gardens, colorful handicrafts, exciting shopping prospects – you name it and Jaipur has it for you!

  4. Jodhpur Fort the Mehrangarh Fort perched atop a 150 meters high hill. One has to pass through seven gates to reach the massive fort from the 15th century.  Marks of battles fought from the fort are still fresh on these gates and can transport you to the bygone era.   The fort is home to several palaces, galleries and temples inside, including some sprawling courtyards and exquisite carvings. The Jodhpur Mehrangarh Fort Museum showcases the well-preserved royal items like their costumes, paintings, weapons and palanquins. Worthy of particular mention is the view of the city of Jodhpur from the top of the fort.

  5. Jaisalmer Fort Jaisalmer Fort in the heart of the city is a huge fort with 99 bastions and a 30 feet tall wall surrounding it. Hailed as “the pride of Jaisalmer”- the fort is well known as “Sonar Quila”, which literally means “the Golden Fort”. The yellow sandstones used to build the fort perpetually radiate golden hues, particularly during sunsets. The 360 degree view from the top of the fort is equally beguiling, as the entire city in bird eye view appears as if painted in golden yellow owing to pervasive use of yellow sandstone and yellow sand across its structures.  The mansions, temples and residential complexes within the fort are said to depict a fusion of Mughal and Rajput architectural styles. Maharaja’s palace inside the fort complex is worthy of particular mention in terms of tourism quotient.

  6. Junagarh Fort Among the places to visit in Bikaner, Junagarh Fort unarguably leads the rest of the heritage sites thanks to its majestic dimensions and exquisite art and architecture. Originally constructed by 1593, the fort witnessed elaborate additions by the dozens by the subsequent heirs of the founder Maharaja Raja Rai Singh, the latest addition made in 1943 only. Per se, the fabulous fort boasts of as many as thirty-seven (37) unique palaces, temples and pavilions across the complex.  What puts the Junagarh Fort apart from any other fort in Rajasthan is its unusual location on ground level (instead of some hill top) and its proven track record of remaining invincible throughout its lifetime in use. The fort also happens to be the most well-preserved and well-maintained forts in the state.
