  3. APPEARANCE • Pandas are black and white. Panda bears also have large and enormous eyes. They look cute and cuddly too!

  4. Habitat • Pandas live in south western china, bamboo forests, mountainous regions and shanaaxi . Some pandas have been captured in zoos and live in a fake habitat.

  5. Food • Pandas eat all kinds of food. Some types of food they eat are bamboo, meat, nuts, berries, flowers, grass, fish ,small animals and rodents.

  6. Young • Baby pandas stay with their mother for 18 months. If a mother has two babies she will give all the attention to one baby and the other one will die! A new born cub only weighs up to 3-4 ounces. After about a year the baby cub will live on its own. Males do not take care of they young.

  7. Interesting facts • Pandas eat up to 13 hours a day. There is 1,000 panda left in the wild. They are an endangered species. The Panda Bear is a mammal and a omnivore. They can eat 50 to 60 pounds of bamboo a day. Pandas also have five fingers just like humans! When a panda starts to drink water they cannot stop.
