  4. Brainstorm with tables • What kinds of things should Roosevelt work on to ensure a “square deal”

  5. Turn back to definitions • Look up YOUR OWN definition for conservation • Share your definition with the table

  6. Natural Resources • Occurs naturally in the environment • Some we need for survival • Ex. Types of minerals, lumber

  7. Brainstorm with groups • On the other side of the paper, brainstorm as many natural resources as you can • Remember, these are items that we USE that are naturally occurring in the environment

  10. Reflection Activity- Conservation Map • Look at listed provided • Label states that are listed (can abbreviate) • Put the letter(s) of the conservation projects according to the list Ex. Arizona= B,F,G,M,R • Create a key to display what each letter means Ex. B= Federal Bird Reserve
