  4. Body or Base of Teapot • Round • Square • Triangle • Must have minimum of 5 holes to allow water to flow from body through spout • DO NOT cut out one large hole for spout- water will come out too quickly and spill • Must hold at least 500 mL of water (the size of one water bottle)

  5. Spouts • Rule for spouts: • Your water level is only as high as the top of your spout!

  6. Handles • Rules for Handles: • Strong enough to hold the weight of the teapot with water in it • Large enough for your hand to fit into • NOT TOO BIG • Handle needs to be PROPORTIONAL to the teapot

  7. Lids • Lid must match overall design • Lid must fit snuggly on teapot

  8. Designs • Textures • Themes • Patterns • Characters or creatures Graded on CREATIVITY!!

  9. Grading • Basic Parts are Present • Lid, handle, spout, lid • Craftsmanship • How well is it put together? • Design • Is it well done, creative, thoughtful, funny? • Functionality • Does it hold 500mL of water and pour appropriately?
