ECS news • PVSS 3.8 projects should be run ONLY by the calo_oper user • Configuration database is already available for recipes • Problems with trigger datapoints related to TVB component • When doing a component include just the right datapoints • Problems with PSDCST1 solved • See Jean-Luc’s Talk • PCs shall be off during the cooling maintenance

ECS next steps • Clean PC’s local disks (from old backups) • Come back to the backup policy • Reduce the number of PVSS projects • Merge CA1, HC1, PS1 and EC1 in a single project • With all its CUs • Running in a dedicated linux PC • Integrate also CRACKMON and SPDDCST1 in this project • Radiative source see Yuri’s talk System Monitoring and DCS

  5. DCS domain • Calo DCS involves • LV and MV power supplies • PS/SPD VFE power supplies • PS/SPD VFE temperatures • Those quantities should be stored in the PVSS archive
