  3. Habitat and Diet • They eat moose, elk , bison, deer and caribou if they are in a pack. • If not they eat hare or beavers alone • They live in thick forests, the great lakes, northern Rockies, and southwestern u.s

  4. Why it’s Endangered • People are hunting and trapping gray wolfs • Humans are taking the woods • People are misunderstanding gray wolfs

  6. Fun Facts • Are born blind and defenseless • Mother takes care of the baby until 10 months old • There active mostly at night • They can sprint 30 to 45 miles per hour • They hunt in packs • Gray wolfs move night and day
