Experimenter access to measurement IMF provides architectural capability to integrate measurement framework (secondarily, shared substrate) Collaborate with ERM, BEN/ORCA, LEARN. • HW developed: the netFPAG-controlled SOA; the script-controlled attenuator • SW developed: (1) SILO runs in BEN, and services are developed; (2) Measurement published through XMPP; • HW-SW interaction finished: xmlrpc, XMPP • Live demo with video stream Spiral 2 Status – successful demo of IMF cross-layer milestone Spiral 3 Plan • Use ORCA framework to set up the experiment • Ontology for measurement, and explore measurement roles in resource presentation

Spiral 3 Plan • Fully integrated with ORCA; • Multiple aggregates - Integrating into other control frameworks is also something we want to do, but probably not before Year 3 of our project.
