  13. We are all CC Develop positive attributes in youth Develop soccer players in a child centered environment Empower the program with choices to have many ways of success What are we trying to do? By how we coach By how we try to play By how we warm up By how we watch games By how we win By how we lose By the opportunities we encourage Who are we? But Together we must be We are a community Soccer Club How do we do that? What are we?

  14. Creating a club culture The way our teams look to play What we class as success Coaching Style The way our teams warm up The way our Goalkeepers warm up The Conduct of our members Over the years we have slowly added pieces that are unique to our club- This year we will put them all together with one addition

  15. Warm ups • Fifa ll plus clips • Fifa 11plus information • Why we are doing this

  16. Game day schedule • The game day process is 45 minutes prior to the game • 1st contact with the players • 0-5 minutes – Meet the coach and the coach reviews the game, the objectives and the formation • 5-10 minutes – Check in with the referee • 5-30 minutes – The players do the 11 plus warm up • 30-40 minutes The team breaks up into an activity based on age _ goalkeeper does a separate warm up • U9/10 passing in pairs or dribbling with a move • U11+ possession or multiple goal games • 40-45 minutes coach reviews starting line up based on player readiness and talks individually and briefly

  17. Evaluating team successTeam • Does your team display comfort in possession of the ball • Do they pass the ball in all directions • Are they comfortable enough to build up play or do they play direct • Do they play out and around the back line with confidence • Do they get back players into attack • Do they transition and win the ball back quickly?

  18. Game Expectations • At CC United for the development of the players in our community every game presents us with an opportunity to • Work on the quality of our defending if our opponent is stronger than us • Work on our attacking if we are stronger than our opponent • Games will be considered lost if, as a team we either quit when we were down or simply kept on scoring • I Expect all teams to go through this check list when we are wining to create positive game habits in preparation for the next game What we practice makes permanent and not perfect, so how we win and lose is just as important as how we practice and play We must win games because we are the better team and not just because we have more effective players U9/10 • Can we play 3 touch • Each time the ball goes out of bounds we must find the keeper • Forward stays in opponents half and we must pass in before we go in U11 plus • Can we play 2 touch • The fullbacks must overlap the outside midfielder each time they get the ball • The forwards play 1 touch • 3 touch in your half and one touch in the opposing half • Both wide midfielders have to touch the ball in the opposing half

  19. Coach Expectations Game • To allow the players to play the game • To evaluate performance of training at all games • To do more player education on the sidelines • To use the goals and objectives to determine success • To use specific and limited moments to coach players on the field that allows the players to lead the game • If the score runs the risk of being high to use game conditions to prepare the team for higher level teams • To sit and Enjoy watching what you team has achieved

  20. Coach Expectations on conduct • Never question a referee in a negative manner.  • All referee conversations should happen during play breaks and in a civil manner. • Never engage with a parent verbally or physically • Never allow get into a verbal or physical altercation with opposing coach • Always treat players with respect • Act as a teacher not a dictator- ask the referee

  21. Thank you Lets lose the levels and promote the love
