STOCK REPLENISHMENT (R-SUPPLY) DIFM RETURN (BCM)
DIFM RETURN (BCM) Purpose: Records the return of a component which has cleared the repair cycle. System Action: (1) Deletes the DIFM record. (2) Updates the FGC / NIIN record.
DIFM RETURN (BCM) (3) Calls stock replenishment when for SO mgmt code assets (W and L purpose) ACBAL + DUE is less than FAQ and the Stock Replenishment Indicator is “checked” (4) Refers requisition. (5) Deletes MSG - COMPLETED SYSTEM ACTION.
This can either be done from the DIFM selection in the repairables submenu or from the Completed Repair Action Mailbox
Ensure the SPI indicator and the Stock Replenishment indicator is set as well Aircraft Engines are a good example of items that require TYCOM approval before BCM of an item. Make sure you write down the NIIN and the MCN before clicking save. This will allow you to locate the replenishment DDSN easier
Notice that the Transledger is updated with a stock replenishment transaction code and DDSN.
STOCK REPLENISHMENT (R-SUPPLY) DUE REPAIRABLE STOCK STATUS INQUIRY
DUE REPAIRABLE STOCK STATUS INQUIRY Purpose: Displays the due stock position of a particular FGC, NIIN, or FSCM / PN. System Action: Displays stock status of components in due status to include stock posture and DDSN information.
By clicking on the Due field, you can display the details of items that are referred.
