  1. 合板游離甲醛之研究 • 摘 要 甲醛是一項普遍存在的室內空氣污染物,由於具眼鼻黏膜 • 及上呼吸道刺激性與疑似致癌特性而引起關切。室內甲醛的來源主要來自 • 含甲醛樹脂的各種合板產品(pressed-wood products)及裝潢建材。國內 • 房屋整修裝潢頻繁,大量使用合板裝潢及製造陳列櫃、壁櫥,又未限制合 • 板甲醛釋出量,故可能累積較高濃度之甲醛。本研究企圖揭露此一問題的 • 重要性並尋求改善之道。本研究涵蓋三部分:(一)問卷調查-以大台北地區 • 一般民眾為對象進行電話訪問,以了解民眾對合板甲醛釋出的認知與感受 • 性;(二)比較國內市售合板與國外進口低游離甲醛合板間之甲醛釋出量及 • 其衰減曲線;(三)測試坊間數種所謂去除合板甲醛偏方的去除效率。問卷 • 結果顯示,雖然超過半數的民眾(62.1%)對甲醛氣味有感受性,但卻不知 • 其原因及危害,顯示有關單位應加強對大眾的教育與宣導;合板甲醛釋出 • 量衰減試驗則顯示『低游離甲醛合板』所散發出的甲醛遠低於一般合板( • 十分之一或更低),國內應儘速訂定室內合板甲醛釋出量標準;至於甲醛 • 去除效率的研究則指出,市售芳香脫臭劑能有效降低游離甲醛之濃度(降 • 低22%),使用茶葉渣(降低27%)或保持良好的室內換氣率(降低25%)亦能去 • 除甲醛的刺鼻味並有效降低游離甲醛之濃度。

  2. Study on the Formaldehyde Emission from Pressed-wood • Formaldehyde is an ubiquitous indoor air pollutant. It has • been well documented that formaldehyde is an irritant of mucous • membrane of eyes, nose, throat, and respiratory tract. It has • also been considered as a suspected carcinogen for human by • IARC. Most important sources of indoorformaldehyde vapor is • emitted from the adhesive used in the pressed-wood products • including plywood, particleboard, and paneling. In Taiwan, large • quantities of pressed-wood products were used in cabinets, • furnitureand the booming interior construction business. The • combined effect of tightened buildings and the increased usage • of these composite buildingmaterials led to a large increase in • the number of high level indoorformaldehyde vapor, It warrant • our paying special attention to understandand ameliorate this • problem. This study was designed including three parts: (1) • administratedtelephone questionnaire to investigate the • recognition and attitudes of subjects about formaldehyde • emission from pressed-wood products, (2)compared the • formaldehyde emission decay curve between domestic and imported • pressed-wood products, (3) compared the formaldehyde removing • efficiency between several substances which was known to be used • to reducethe odor emitted from formaldehyde. The results • from the questionnaire shown that high proportion (62.1%) of • subjects complaint with pungent-smelling and uncomfortable, • while theydid not know the target source. From our decay test, • less formaldehyde wasdetected from imported "low emission • formaldehyde pressed-wood " products than domestic products • (less than 10%) . In addition, comparing the efficiencies of • several known methods, the results indicate that • "commercialabsorber" could be a good materials to decrease • formaldehyde concentration(reduce 22%). The similar function was • also be found with tea leafs (reduce27%) and maintaining a good • indoor ventilation (reduce 25%). It is recommended that the • authorities should contribute more information on formaldehyde • for people. In addition, the formaldehyde emission standard on • pressed-wood products also should be set. Further,information on • "low emission formaldehyde pressed-wood " also should be • introduced to suppliers and consumers in our country.
