Upgrade from Backup Exec 10.0 to Backup Exec 10d • Customers with maintenance • FREE: Upgrades • FREE: CPA license with application agents and AOFO (Advanced Open File Option) • Chargeable: New CPA license as stand alone • Customers without maintenance • FREE: Updating all existing components (not including Continuous Protection Agent) • If a customer want the CPA functionality they have 2 options: Option1:Customer can purchase support (initial or renewal). Support will be back dated to coincide with original license purchase or renewal expiration date. Once support is purchased customers will receive CPA components per application agent. Option 2:Customer can purchase a new stand alone CPA licenses or the upgraded application agent w/CPA..

  26. 10d Update Invitation Company Address Company City, State, Zip Install At Contact Invitation ID# = Customer # = Order # = Dear Valued Customer: Symantec/VERITAS is pleased to announce a new release of Symantec Backup Exec 10d for Windows Server. As a valued customer with current maintenance/support, you are invited to request this update, which is included with your maintenance/support subscription entitlements. This invitation includes an ID that enables you to visit the VERITAS Product Center and register to receive your update. You may then choose to download the product or request a media kit be mailed to you at no additional charge. The version 10d License keys needed to install the new version will available on the vLicense Key portal as you process this Update Invitation in the VERITAS Product Center. For more information on the product changes in this release, as well as, the other new features not mentioned here please contact your local VERITAS Software Sales representative. Please continue to access and use Support for your VERITAS products as you have in the past. Support phone numbers and website links will also remain the same until further notice.  VERITAS PRODUCT CENTER (VPC) will be ready to accept update orders on October 10, 2005 https://my.veritas.com/vlicense/VLicenseLogin.jsp
