History • Program assumptions of the Distance Advisory Study Network appeared in year 2000 (project fiche) • The network started in 2004 with it`s first course " The Quality Standards of agricultural production – the animal production and plant production” in frames of the Phare Programme PL0104.02 the "National System of Advising Agricultural” (2001 - 2004 )

Distance Advisory Study Network • DASN - Polish-wide • There are 16 Distance Advisory Study Centres (DASC), (one in each voivodeship). • National Contact Point (NCP) was created in 1 unit on the national level • Tasks of DASC – local services: • Presenting offer of planned courses • Participants' recruitment • Help to participants in realization of courses • Providing of contacts, exchange of information with NCP

  7. Structure of e-learning platform in AAC Access to information via Internet:dial-up, SDI, DSL,Neostrada Internet Access to information via LAN network Contents server

DASN- technical equippment • Each DASC and NCP is equipped with: • server and local network • 20 computers with LCD monitors • software • videoprojector • color printer and copier • Brwinów is equipped withTraining Platform and Lotus Learning Space 5.01 software • Częstochowa is equipped with post server, corporation portal

Distance Learning Department (in Brwinów) Tasks: • The co-ordination of Distance Advisory Study Network (the SCDO). • Elaboration of educational materials (courses and modules to distance learning). • The co-operation with institutions and organizations on the national and international level.

  10. Tasks: • Elaboration of the training offer directed to advisors, teachers, farmers and other inhabitants of rural areas • Co-ordination of programmes realized in co-operation with national institutions and organizations as well as partners from EU countries • Creation and management of the national system of advisory information (help desk)

  12. Planned courses in 2007 AAC Brwinów (1) • III edition of course " Leading of ecological farms and ecological methods of agricultural production” – for advisors • "Leaderatorium II” - internet courses

  13. Planned courses in 2007 AACBrwinów (2) • The "New model of extension by eLearning" – thecourse concerning usage of modern ICT tools in farm management. • Course created in frame of eFarmer project (INTERREG IIIC programme) – for advisers.

  14. Planned courses in 2007 AAC Brwinów (3) • Supplementary training for agrienvironmental advisors in a scope of programme for 2007-2013 – the online course as well as stationary course and specialistic workshops • " Basis of Cross Compliance requirements "

  15. Planned courses in 2007 AAC Brwinów (4) • "Grosz to grosz, that is how to invest” –The common initiative of AAC and the National Bank of Poland.

  16. Summary • At present the system of education proposed by AAC is aimed only for agricultural advisors • Our intention is to develop this form of education for farmers and the rural inhabitants. • Pilot project – "Grosz to grosz, that is how to invest”
