  7. PowerFilm User Interface • Start Scanning / Stop Scanning • Press the Green traffic light to start scanning • Press the Red traffic light to stop scanning

  8. PowerFilm User Interface • Scanning control parameters available on Control Tabs • Each Control Tab contains settings that can be saved in user defined ‘Configurations’.

  9. PowerFilm User Interface • The Image Tab controls Image creation settings, e.g. • Image size • Image resolution • Composition/Compression • Brightness/Contrast • Use the mouse to define custom scan area’s (rubber band)

  10. PowerFilm User Interface • The Batch Tab controls output options, e.g. • Output Folder • File naming/numbering • Document Boundaries • Output Format • Document Type

  11. PowerFilm User Interface • The Index Tab allows the user to assign index data to images as they are scanned - or post scanning. • Up to 10 user defined index fields • A data file is written in the same folder as the images

  12. PowerFilm User Interface • The Options Tab controls film type and scanner options, e.g. • Film polarity • Frame masking/elimination • Frame auto centering • Auto Focus • Auto Exposure (brightness)

  13. PowerFilm User Interface • The Film Tab controls the Mini MARS II controller • Only available if a Mini MARS II controller is detected • Two Level image mark counting on 16mm Microfilm • Navigate to frame position • Batch Scanning - from batch/item for n frames or n batches

  14. PowerFilm User Interface • Image Display • Images are displayed on the right hand side of the interface during scanning • Images may be manipulated using the controls above the image display
