Look at Worksheet 3.1 • Global Warming • Complete the graph on the sheet – do the lines for CO2 and temperature in different colours. • Extend the lines to 2050 • Answer Q 3 on the blank side opposite – exam practice ! Describing data • Make any extra notes on here too.
The Consequences ! • Using p28 & 29 in the text book • Read & look at the diagrams • Which 4 countries/groups of countries contribute most to warming ? (Diag C) • Do question 2a, b – use the subheadings you are given
Consequences UK • Now study your sheet as well • Title effects on the UK • Use UK map • Make two columns – Gains and Losses – explain what these are in as much detail as you can – try to develop the consequences • Name the main cities that will be flooded (first letters are on the map, atlas at the back)
Consequences World • Look at world map on your sheet • Two columns again – Benefits and Problems • Remember hurricanes ? – add a comment in one of the columns about these. • In groups – what do you think we could do to reduce Global Warming – • As individuals/at home • As a school • As a country ?
