Background of the Initiative MyFloridaMarketPlace…Connecting Buyers and Vendors… Expanding Opportunities. • Governor’s initiative to implement a single, statewide eProcurement solution enabling electronic buying, selling and payments of invoices • Aggregate all Government spending into an efficient buying channel • Leverage new technology and capitalize on best practices • Generate savings through Strategic Sourcing and process efficiencies • All costs associated with the project are paid through the 1% transaction fee
Role of MFMP • MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) is the state’s “one-stop shop” for buyers and vendors of the State of Florida • Provides the full life cycle of purchasing (requisition to payment of goods and services) • Connects buyers and vendors through electronic exchange of catalogs, quotes, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, etc. • Integrated with the State of Florida’s financial system (FLAIR) • Supports efficient government by focusing on best practices • Maximizes the state’s buying power by getting the best value • Connects agencies with 99,000 + vendors • Buyers and vendors have access to MFMP 24 hours a day, seven days a week

Procure to Pay Process • Create purchase order • Select a vendor from the registered vendor list • Choose items from online catalogs • Approve requisitions based on agency and State Purchasing rules • Issue Purchase Order • Confirm availability of funds for making particular types of purchases by interfacing with FLAIR, the state of Florida accounting system • Vendor receives electronic purchase order • Agency receives good online directly against the original purchase order • Electronic invoices create an easy to use payment process • Enter invoice information • Approve invoice and submit to FLAIR, which issues the final payments to the vendors Pay Order Approval Receive Request FLAIR
