National Digital Forecast Database • NDFD has been operational since 2004 • Domains include: • CONUS • OCONUS (AK, HI, Guam, PR/V.I.) • 16 sub-sectors • Information available electronically: • Electronic File Dissemination Services • XML Web Service • Web-based Graphics • GIS Compatible Formats • Online Archive Access System NOAA/NWS Digital Services

Actions Completed in 2006 • Transitioned Apparent Temperature and RH grids to operational status (3/15/06) • Implemented experimental TPC Tropical Cyclone Wind Probability grids (7/5/06) • Implemented experimental Wind Gust grids (9/6/06) • Split NDFD Files (Days 1-3 and 4-7) (9/6/06) • Implemented six experimental grids for Alaska (9/6/06) • Implemented experimental QPF grids for Hawaii (11/1/06) • Conducted NDFD Technical Workshop (11/2/06) • Adjusted time NDFD is extended 24 hours to 22Z (11/28/06) • Transitioned XML Web Service to operational status (12/4/06) NOAA/NWS Digital Services
