  2. Report Content: Experiment • Purpose: Statement of problem to be investigated • Procedure: • Identify and name all variables. Include units of measure. • State how many conditions were run and how many trials for each condition (at least three trials, more if variable data). • General procedure followed. • NOTE: May attach copy of procedural handout or just paraphrase it • Equipment diagram: Include all components of the system and the variables measured. • Data Table: All rows & columns labeled, with units

Report Content: Analysis • Results Table (Post-lab Calculations) • All columns and rows labeled, with units. • Show example of “out-of-the-ordinary” calculations • Graphs – if specified • Must include: title, axes labels (with units), axes scales • If appropriate: best fit line(s), relevant equation, data labels • Interpretation Questions • THINK about what you did and learned in the experiment and apply these insights to the questions. • Answer in complete sentences and in third person language
