What’s in the 2.9 release of the EDI Products EC Gateway – Message Management Features cont. • Assign a datetime value to a Parameter • Enhanced passing data in memory • New LoadMemory command • New SaveMemory command • Added ability to read data from a queue and pass it into the RunMapIn command from memory • Message pointer (memory location) can be stored into Message variables • Allow wildcards to specify a file name in the Unix version of the Scheduler

What’s new in the 4.0 release of the EDI products Where’s 3.0? • The release number started as 3.0 • Decision made to have all product release numbers be the same – 3.0 became 3.9 • The decision was reversed, but sub-releases were being given 3.n numbers • So that’s why 3.0 is skipped and we are going to 4.0

What’s new in the 4.0 release of the EDI Products ECMap – Map Development Workbench Features: • Support of NCPDP as a standard • Support Telecommunications version 5.1 • Support Batch version 1.1 based on telecommunications version 5.1 • Additional versions will be added in future releases of the EDI products

What’s new in the 4.0 release of the EDI Products ECMap – Map Development Workbench Features cont.: • Improved Acknowledgement support • Support both batch and interactive processing for generation of 997 transactions and TA1 segments • Support TA1 Segment • New outbound map to create Interchanges with TA1 Segments • Inbound TA1 segments will be automatically processed • New Inbound map to reconcile received TA1 Segments

What’s new in the 4.0 release of the EDI Products ECMap – Map Development Workbench Features cont.: • All envelope data elements can be overwritten by system Variables • New option on the Mapping window which changes the Mapping pane view from horizontal to vertical and improves the speed that the mapping window opens for large maps. • Ability to disable commands in Rules • New utility to update all databases when a Directory, File, Record, Field or Memory Variable name changes. • Additional X12 and EDIFACT standards
