  4. Power search • www.anderson1.k12.sc.us • Ability to search with multiple search terms • Search for specific material types • Specify reading or interest levels • Specify Lexile score range

  5. POWER SEARCH in destiny:STEP-BY-STEP • Go to Destiny • Click on the “Power” tab • Type in your search terms • Scroll down to “Material Type”. Click on the down arrow and choose “books.” • Scroll down to “Reading Programs.” Click on the down arrow and choose “Lexile.” • Scroll down to “Lexile Measure.” Put in your Lexile range. • Click on “Search.” • Look through the results to find a book you want. • When you find a book you want, look for the call number located beside the red book icon. • Write the title and call number on a ticket. • Go to the correct shelf to locate the book.
