  1. Dwarka L Zone As a step towards facilitating the growing need of housing in Delhi, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is working on the Master Plan of L Zone. Located in South-West Delhi and spread across 22,840 hectare of land, the L Zone www.dwarkalzone.com

  2. Master Plan 2021 • The following are the steps which MPD 2021 aims to practice the to resolve the issues: • Provide affordable housing to large population. • Creating more of open spaces. • Redevelopment of low residential areas i.e. incentives on redevelopment. • Making Delhi a technologically developed city. • Better augmentation of resources and services. • To involve private sector in the development process. • Enhancement of Floor Area Ratio.

  3. Advantages It is envisioned that LPP will unlock around 25000 acres of land. MPD 2021 aims to generate 1.6 million dwelling units that will provide accomodation to 10 million people in the capital. Whole development will take place. LPP is all set to generate inflow worth 7 Lakh crores and will boost the economy of the country.

  4. Land Pooling Policy Lack of infrastructure facilities has led to inception of slums in Delhi. in 2011 Delhi’s population was estimated to 1.7 crore. But the present infrastructure accommodates only 1.5 crore people. By the end of the year 2021, the population will rise by 60 Lakh. Thus the need of the hour is to arrange the land parcel to cover the existing deficit as well as the expected increase in population by 2021.
