  1. Signs TransInfo Integration Asset Management Integration

  2. TransInfo Priority Projects • Reporting Database – replacement for HTDR1 • Data Warehouse solution • 24 month project (WAG) • Resources not yet available • Signs • Focused scope • 6 month project (SWAG) • Significant project readiness • Definitions, data QA via data warehouse, etc. • Resources are available • “Heavy lifting” to be done by Bentley

  3. Business Case • ODOT staff and program managers have long had a need for a corporate database for signs • The current solution is inadequate and includes 63 Access databases and a Data Warehouse solution for quality assurance. • The Sign Asset Management team has steadfastly prepared signs data so that it is ready for this integration. • Once signs data is in TransInfo it can be used for central reports, helping with project management and compliance with FHWA requirements related to ODOT’s 1R program

  4. Summary of Scope: • Signs will be integrated into TransInfo as a new set of assets • Data in the current systems has already been prepared for integration into TransInfo • The Access Database being used for field data collection will be synchronized with TransInfo (they will not be replaced at this time, but may need minor modifications) • The central signs Access Databases and Warehouse validation reports will be retired

  5. Description of the Solution Approach:

  6. Estimated Initiative Cost, Dates, and Impacts

  7. AMSC Recommendation • Approved to go to TransCOI? • Moving #2 TransInfo Signs project ahead?
