  3. 2012-13 Staff Evaluation Rating • Staff Evaluation Rating template • For Public School Districts, anticipate needing: • 15 Local; 25 State subcomponent option (TBD), in addition to • 20 Local; 20 State subcomponent option • Charter Schools: • each staff person reported must have an Overall Composite record • no longer need to submit a 0-100 score • Evaluation Criteria Codes(replace existing State/Local subcomponents) • STATE20 - State subcomponent score (comparable measure)LOCAL20 - Local achievement subcomponent (comparable measure) • STATE25 - State subcomponent score (value added) (TBD) • LOCAL15 - Local achievement subcomponent (value added) (TBD)

Review New Requirements • 2013-14 • Student-level suspension (in-school/out-of-school) • Day Calendar (for attendance rate) • Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) • Accumulated Credits • New Measure Codes • Enrollment Exit Codes (description change) • New Credentials for: • Skills & Achievement • Career Readiness

  5. 2013-14 Data Collection • New data collection requirements for existing templates: • Staff Snapshot Changes for Collection of Educator hire/tenure dates: • Principal Hire Date [field #106] (effective date of first board appointment as a principal) • Teacher Hire Date [field #33] (effective date of board appointment as a teacher) • Principal Tenure Date [field #107] (effective date first tenure as a principal is granted by the LEA) • Teacher Tenure Date [field #34] (effective date first tenure as a teacher is granted by the LEA) http://www.p12.nysed.gov/irs/vendors/2013-14/templates2013-14.xlsx • School Entry Exit • New descriptions for Enrollment Exit codes 085 and 629

  7. 2013-14 Timelines • New codes and fields in existing templates should be available in the SMS by September 2013. • For All NYS eScholar Templates: • When eScholar adds fields in their annual release to templates that NYS already uses, vendors should make it a practice to add those additional fields (unpopulated) to their extracts, even if NYS does not require the fields • Both NYS Reporting and Regional Reporting fields are required. http://www.p12.nysed.gov/irs/vendors/2013-14/techInfo.html • Data extracts for the following new/updated templates should be made available to LEAs no later than: • Student Contact February 2013 • Contact February 2013 ______________________________________________________________ • Staff Evaluation Rating August 2013 • Day Calendar September 2013 • Student Credit GPA September 2013 • Staff Snapshot September 2013
