  1. Vehicular Hybrid Project Status NEMA Vehicle Conversions Prof. Stephen B. Palmer

  2. Status Summary • The project is static due to lack of funding and ability to obtain traction motors from manufacturers, or Lithium Ion Batteries of sufficient output (Stacks to match motors) • Traction Motors for SUV’s and Tractor Trailer Rigs, Farm Tractors identified, manufacturers identified in US and Europe • Lithium Ion Battery packs for SUV’s and larger vehicles identified and manufacturers in US, China, Japan, Taiwan, Russia, and Europe have been located • Dr. John Bedini has completed the scalar charging circuits and identified transfer systems requirements.

  3. Progress • Identified several countries where this technology can be used without changing current security laws • Identified possible funding sources and are pursuing those resources • Identified personnel that can assist in our challenge either in research and development or installation of systems.

  4. Attention Areas • The largest delay seems to be associated with convincing the manufacturers that we are serious about major purchases of their equipment, supplies and services. • Software that is capable of estimating successful systems integration and system life times of both metal and non-metal parts and packaging materials

  5. Schedule • No schedule will be completed until funding is located • Thailand is one of several countries that have been identified to develop this technology

  6. Development • Transport Truck and Ships/Aircraft development will require at least $750,000 each to get all systems integrated, particularly the safety systems, this may include cost over-runs. • SUV’s and Farm Tractors will take a minimum of $600,000 for each for integrating safety and comfort for SUV’s and Boats, and farm implement adapters for farm and construction tractors; costs in this may be reduced by industry co-operation.

  7. Costs • Costs are not just the materials and equipment as stated in the previous slide, but will also include additional expenses for travel, shipping, personnel wages and office costs, these may exceed 5 times the development expenses. • If there are cost overruns, they will be in the integration of safety equipment such as air brakes, windshield wipers, comfort aspects of heating and cooling, and attaching and running external implements and refrigeration for cold box semi-trailers.

  8. Technology • Cold box and refrigeration can utilize open servile solar or scalar powered systems • The air brakes may need to attach a compressor to the traction motor to provide air pressure for both brakes and windshield wipers, and other motive equipment. • The dependencies for the system are the battery selection, traction motor output, and charging systems (Scalar Circuit-Controller) and drive train integration.

  9. Resources • Funding resources are few, thus it is proposed to do both a schedule D exempt securities offering, or similar modality and to continue to search for grants and donations to University research projects that are earmarked for energy programs • Collaborators from around the globe in Universities, industry, and energy research centers shall be utilized to keep costs at a minimum.

  10. Goals for Next Review • Status Update shall be Sept 30th of 2009 • Goals for the next review: Funding, Technological Breakthroughs and location/facilities acquisitions. • Action plan shall include investigations as to funding, signing of collaborative partners, integration and acceptance of industry, active work with private energy research centers and institutes as well as individuals.
