August 18th-22nd d Mrs. AlLee and Mrs. Barbara’s Class ALEXANDRIA.BROWNING@humboldtschools.com 731-784-9410 • Ideas for learning at home: • Teach your child their address: house number, street name, city, and state. For safety reasons, it’s important for your child to know where they live. Also, this is a skill that we test on our progress reports. You could say your address every time you drive home  • While at the grocery store, look for blue food….blueberries, juice boxes, cereal… see who can find the most blue things, you or your kiddo!  The shape we will be learning about this week is a square! The color we will be learning about this week is blue! Reminders -Please make sure your child has a change of clothes at school. -Parents, please initial on the calendar every day next to your child’s behavior. Thank you! -Make sure to clean out your child’s folder daily. They work really hard, and I know you will be proud of the work they bring home in their folders!  -Don’t forget to turn in your picture money! Important Dates • Tuesday, August 19th- Fall Pictures (please make sure your child has a uniform to change into after the pictures are taken) • Tuesday, August 19th- PTO/PI Meeting (Importance of Fathers/Watch Dog Program) 6:00-7:00pm • Friday, August 29th- Teacher in-service, no school • Tuesday, September 2nd- Pizza Hut Fundraiser.
