  2. For four successive generations there had been a Michael McAuliffe, but none as unique as.....

  3. Michael Joseph McAuliffe, born 25th July 1940

  4. An only child for such a short time

  5. At age fifteen months, his solitude was interrupted by the arrival of Philip Coleman.....

  6. Two bonny boys looking forward to the future!

  7. Michael aged two years

  8. Dreaming of speeding!

  9. And Fergal Patrick made three

  10. Daisy Days

  11. Fergal six months, Michael three years and Philip two years ~ a handsome trio: red, blonde and brown!

  12. A busy household at 109 Strand Road, the boys were doted upon by their proud Mammy, Granny White, Auntie K and Brigid

  14. Michael’s First Holy Communion

  15. If there was any vying for who’d be king of the castle, the matter was settled by the arrival of Princess Kathleen Mary

  16. Three brothers aged six, five, and four years just waiting for orders!

  22. In 1951, Redmond Eugene made his arrival. It wasn’t easy having three big brothers and a bossy sister who threatened to turn him into a frog.Thankfully Mammy didn’t comply with the boys’ request to take him into town and “lose” him

  23. It took a while to perfect the recipe, but at last in 1953 the family was complete with the addition of Eavan Mary Josephine ~ a redhead, just like her big brother Michael
