Purpose of the Outpouring. 6/23/19. Zechariah 10:1 Ask the  Lord  for rain in the springtime;     it is the  Lord  who sends the thunderstorms. He gives showers of rain to all people,     and plants of the field to everyone. Ask for rain the in the time of rain.

  2. Zechariah 10:1 Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime;    it is the Lord who sends the thunderstorms.He gives showers of rain to all people,    and plants of the field to everyone.

  3. Ask for rain the in the time of rain. Why would you ask for rain when it’s already raining? FOR MORE!! When you pray for the thing that God is doing, you align yourself for what God is doing so you can be a recipient of that!

  4. LATTER RAIN IS THE HOLY SPIRIT!

  5. Joel 2:27-2928“It will come about after this That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions.29 “Even on the male and female servantsI will pour out My Spirit in those days.

  6. II. Why does the Outpouring come? Zechariah 10:22 The idols speak deceitfully, diviners see visions that lie; they tell dreams that are false, they give comfort in vain. Therefore the people wander like sheep oppressed for lack of a shepherd. To remove deception False leaders moving in their own strength Therefore, the sheep go astray!

Acts 2:16-18 16 but this is what was spoken of through the prophet Joel: 17 ‘And it shall be in the last days,’ God says,‘That I will pour forth of My Spirit on Allmankind; And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams;18 Even on My bondslaves, both men and women,I will in those days pour forth of My SpiritAnd they shall prophesy.

  8. Psalms 72:6 May he come down like rain upon the mown grass, Like showers that water the earth.

  9. Hosea 6:3 “So let us know, let us press on to know the Lord.His going forth is as certain as the dawn; And He will come to us like the rain, Like the spring rain watering the earth.” Water makes things grow!

  10. “When God reveals things to us, we must put those thing to work. Is we don’t, we will lost the power and opportunity that revelation offers us!”

  11. Matt 13:19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is the one on whom seed was sown beside the road.

  13. “In our culture, we define understanding as nothing more that; cognitive reasoning, coming to conclusion, fully comprehending.” EASTERN CULTURE: Understanding is an EXPERIENCE – GK means “learning which takes place through the 5 senses” It means DOING in PRACTICAL HUMAN EXPERIENCE

  14. John 3:2 2 this man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”

  15. III. Zechariah 10:3 3  My anger burns against the shepherds,    and I will punish the leaders; for the Lord Almighty will care for his flock, the people of Judah, and make them like a proud horse in battle.

  16. Zechariah 10:7 7 The Ephraimites will become like warriors, and their hearts will be glad as with wine. Their children will see it and be joyful; their hearts will rejoice in the Lord.

  17. Nehemiah 8:10 Then he said to them, “Go, eat of the fat, drink of the sweet, and send portions to him who has nothing prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH!

  18. Philippians 1:28 NLT 28 Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself. AMEN!
