Thursday, May 15 begins with a breakfast briefing at the Rockville, MD, hotel followed by a first timers orientation with Karen Fox, CMT, chair of the Legislative Issues Group. Individuals who are not new to lobbying will have free time to meet with their state legislators. After a day on Capitol Hill, we will meet back at the Crowne Plaza in Rockville, Maryland, for a debriefing and reception where members can share their experiences on the Hill. Friday, May 16 attendees will have additional time to meet with their legislators on the Hill. In the afternoon we will have educational sessions for MTs to earn CEs. Saturday, May 17 will be a day packed with educational sessions.
