Need-to-know Information Contact information • abolden@ewingboe.org (Best way to contact me!!) • (609) 538-9800 ext. 8322 Materials for this school year • Blue or black pens • Binder with loose leaf paper for Writer’s Notebook • Dividers • 1 folder for assignments, homework, etc. • If possible, USB/Flash drive (gives you the ability to work on saved assignments at home and at school) MUST HAVE ALL SUPPLIES BY MONDAY, SEPT. 13!

3. R – E – S – P – E – C – T • Respect your peers, the classroom, the teacher, and most importantly, YOURSELF! • Respect is expected at all times, especially during our class periods! • Show respect by: following instructions completely, being “nice or neutral” in your interactions with others, and demonstrating academic integrity.

4. Grading Policy • Tests/Major Papers: 50% • Quizzes: 25% • Classwork: 20% • Homework: 5% *Organization and upkeep of your Writer’s Notebook is included in your classwork grade.*

5. Late Work • All work is expected to be handed in on time. • After the due date you will only have 1 day to hand it in, and you can only receive partial credit for the assignment. • This goes for homework that was not done, left at home, left in your locker, etc. If it’s not here, it’s late!

6. Missing Assignment Policy • Missing one assignment – receive a grade of 0% • Missing two assignments - Lunch detention to make up work • Missing three assignments – Phone call home or email
