What is the problem? • Social work education curriculum needs to be regulate • knowledge in social work needs to be improved • Alzheimer’s disease continues rise in U.S.
What cause the problem? • Lack of motivation in working with elders people • Not having adequate support from school of social workers staff members • Require awareness in social work profession
What are the effects? • Shortage of social workers with adequate geriatric knowledge • Inadequate social service • Elders may end up in abandons
Possible Solution • Increase awareness • Add course of Geriatrics • Adjust social work training program • Motivation • Inspiration
